15 October 2012 Respected Experts,

What may be the possible reasons that can be given for non attending the earlier hearings before the income tax authorities without seeking adjournments.We got notice from deptt.levying penelty u/s 271(1)(b)& we wish to avoid the same. plz reply .Its very urgent.
