20 December 2014 i using tally erp .....my company have 200 employee.so for the payment of wages i using payroll for wages,pf deduction,overtime,hra,da,gratuity and etc....so my question is it is advisable to work on payroll or create all separate ledger for all the employee...can i create for all the workers the ledger a/c separatly?

20 December 2014 Tally erp9 for payroll is good work on payroll no need to create separate ledger.

20 December 2014 you can take payroll from tally then no required to take separate ledger.

20 December 2014 but sir if i use payroll for all the employee then one problem is ocuured...plz advice me on this sir..
i have one project say "mumbai".so i create cost centre for this-mumbai project...
so when i make entry for wages payment to my worker namely "sureshbhai"--so in payment voucher i select wages expenses and prompt cost centre screen,here two option is available 1)-mumbai project..2)-sureshbhai....
if i select mumbai prroject then the entry in payroll is left
and if i select sureshbhai then the entry in mumbai project is left....then what i do with this i can saw this at both place.please finding out solution

20 December 2014 Mumbai project is the cost center after selecting cost center employee name should come for expenses booking.
In the settings you should not choose employee as cost center. Consult tally solutions or see help menu.

20 December 2014 you have to prepare two payroll for that.
