Payment of GST Challan

25 May 2022 Hello,

I've transferred some funds into below mentioned gst bank account from my personal a/c through Net Banking and have also linked the UTR No. with the saved challan on GST portal. But the amount not reflecting yet on GST portal.

09 July 2024 1. Wait for Processing Time: Sometimes, bank transfers can take some time to reflect in the recipient’s account. Typically, NEFT transactions can take up to a few hours, while RTGS transfers are usually quicker. Check the transaction processing time with your bank.
2. Check UTR Details: Ensure that the UTR number entered on the GST portal matches exactly with the UTR number generated for the transaction. Even small discrepancies can lead to delays in processing.
3. Verify GST Portal Updates: Refresh the GST portal page or log out and log back in to check if the payment status has been updated. Sometimes, the portal may take some time to update the payment status even after the funds have been received.
4. Bank Confirmation: Verify with your bank if the funds have been successfully transferred to the GST account. They can provide you with confirmation of the transaction status and whether it has been credited to the GST account.
5. Contact GST Helpdesk: If the payment does not reflect on the GST portal after sufficient time has passed (considering the processing time and banking hours), contact the GST helpdesk. Provide them with the UTR number and transaction details for them to investigate further.
6. Check Payment History: Review your payment history on the GST portal to ensure that the transaction details (UTR, amount, date) match the information provided by your bank.
