I want to update my PAN card address and then the A.O code. Will it be a good idea to change all these in the year ending as I will file IT return at April/May and address will be needed and not sure by the time new address will be updated or not, pls advise.

You can change your PAN card, if you are a company and wanted to change registered office, any time as the managment may deemed fit.

Just apply for PAN reprint while ticking change of address column. the whole process doesn't take more than 2-3 weeks. Once this is done, check your jurisdiction. If the same has not changed, write a letter to the current jurisdictional AO for change of jurisdiction.
If you start now, the whole thing should, be over by the time you file next AY's return.
