25 March 2012 Respected Sir/Madam,

I applied for reprint of pan card and didnot know the date of birth in old card.so that fill date of birth 22/7/1961. whereas the actual DOB is 07/05/1960 which was in old pan card.
on 13th march IT Department Discrepancy letter came mentioning the above problem. and by mistake i replied that 22/7/1961 is correct date of birth and Date of birth in ITD database is incorrect.and mailed it with proof on 15 th march but till date no change in status seen in tracking status.now what should i do because i need correct date of birth ie 7/5/1960.

I will suggest you to first of all file actual date of Birth Certificate certified by gazetted officer to PAN data base and after correction send the same with IT Department.
