Got a notification from IT dept asking information as follows:

I dont think they are asking for TDS returns.
Please check form 26AS, it should be showing tax credit under section 194A.
What they want to know is why you have not filed tax returns.

The income is below taxable limit & there is no Tax credit.
Further in the response to the information asked for, the options available are: Self/ Other PAN/ not known & i need more information

well if the income is below taxable limit, there is no need to file the return...so you tick Income Below Taxable Limit.
