Can some one tell me for Notice issued under section 143 (2), what is the procedure.
The assessment is already done and refund issued. But there is a notice under section 143 (2) for AY 2009-10. If some part of income (rental income on HP) has been missed in the calculation for this AY can a revised return be file after assessment is complete and a notice under 143(2) issued?
What is the process? Can these be carried forward to the next year? or what is the penalty to be paid for that year?

YOU HAVE TOLD THAT ASSESSMENT HAS BEEN DONE. BUT I THINK YOU RECEIVED REFUND ON THE BASIS OF INTIMATION U/S 143(1).
MERE RECEIPT OF NOTICE U/S 143(1) DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOUR ASSESSMENT HAS BEEN COMPLITED . NOTICE U/S 143(2) MEANS YOUR CASE HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR SCRUITNEE. TILL NOW YOUR INCOME HAS NOT YET BENN ASSESSED.
