Notice under section 131 of IT Act

My client received notice under section 131 to attend personlly at his office but my client do not wants to attend the hearing. how to deal with this. I tried lot to AO to not issuing notice for personal attendance but he is not convinced.

As per sec 131 assasee no other option he has to personally attend hearing.
