Hi Experts my uncle received a notice u/s 221(1) and demand amount of 4310 for ay:2010-11 and for that ay there is no amount hit on 26AS(26AS shows nil amount) and he does not file his return for ay:2010-11.shall he respond in compliance section for demand raised or he is to send any communication letter with any proofs?

He should file respond in compliance section.

he didn't had form 16 for ay:2010-11 and 26AS shows nil amount shall he mention the same in compliance section.In Notice they said to appear personally to AO or send written communication.
