07 July 2015 Hi Experts my uncle received a notice u/s 221(1) and demand amount of 4310 for ay:2010-11 and for that ay there is no amount hit on 26AS(26AS shows nil amount) and he does not file his return for ay:2010-11.shall he respond in compliance section for demand raised or he is to send any communication letter with any proofs?

07 July 2015 he didn't had form 16 for ay:2010-11 and 26AS shows nil amount shall he mention the same in compliance section.In Notice they said to appear personally to AO or send written communication.
