Is video conferencing option is mandatory for board meeting or it is optional to mention about video conferencing?

It is optional. If the company gives the option for that , the notice convening the meeting shall specify clearly regarding the option available to the Directors to participate through video conferencing mode and shall provide all the necessary information to enable the Directors to participate through video conferencing mode.
