non receipt of identity card

i have passed my cpt examinations and joined for articles as per the guidelines of ICAI followed by the procedure of submission of the required forms duly filled for the purpose of registration and the fees through a demand draft with in the due date ie. 02/08/2008 (four months back)i have received a letter for the receipt of the draft at ICAI Chennai, but till date i have not received Registration confirnation letter and identity card even after enquiring about the same many times to the concerned, please help me in receiving the same and is there any problem from the point of view of my articles/exams in future for not receiving the same....... please advise...............
