19 July 2010 Section 2(21) is a definition clause of Director general/Director of Income tax.
However income of "News Agencies" is exempted from income tax vide section 10(22B). But 'Times of India' and 'Hindustan Times' is not included in the notification issued on the strength of the referred section.
