I have doubt related to new Service Tax rate has been applicable or not for for the Q1 2015-2016. please reply as soon as possible.

05 May 2015 it is not applicable til now.... old rate is applicable til now @ 12.36 %

new rate wil came in force once it get notified....

20 May 2015 The Central Government has issued Notification No. 14/2015-ST dated 19-05-2015 (attached below) whereby Service Tax Rate has been notified to be increased from 12.36% to 14% effective from 01-06-2015. The levy of Swachh Bharat Cess of 2% is not yet notified and will be notified later.
