New address on income tax returns

25 July 2013 can we write new address on income tax return without applying for address change on pan card??? After logging in on incometax website, can we change address in my profile tab????

25 July 2013 Yes. you can file,but the return will go to the jurisdiction in which your PAN address linked

26 July 2013 Yes you can update your address details in your profile tab.

04 September 2013 Yes you can do it in the return but the intimation shall go to the email address as given in the return filed online and case the case is selected for scrutiny then it will go on the address of your PAN card.

24 May 2014 you can file return on new address and can change the address on PAN after filing for request in change in PAN form submit with NSDL center with new address proof. otherwise your correspondence goes to your PAN address.
