i want to know regarding taxability of govt.contractor in service tax or he is exempt under negative list

15 September 2012 Negative list gives only the services which is exempted from tax. not based on contractors. please check the negative list whether your services are covered under that. if not covered you are taxable even when you are doing govt contract works
