please explain capital gain will be computed on mutual funds?

Yes. capital gain need to be calculated on mutual funds, based on the purchase and selling price

Suppose you are investing in any mutual funds for Rs.100 and you are redeeming the same in some time for Rs.120. so the difference of Rs.20 is the capital gain.
