05 November 2019 Dear Sir,

If Any Individual person apply for more than one GST No in Single State/ UT if their Business nature is different & If any GST number is inactive from last 2 years So, Can we apply for new GST number or Not. in case of "Not" What is the procedure.

05 November 2019 A person can apply for separate GST number , if business nature is different and IF HE HAS MORE THAN ONE PLACE OF BUSINESS IN A STATE.

In case your GST number is showing inactive status on portal , it means registration has been cancelled by proper officer .
You can apply for revocation of registration but CAN NOT apply for fresh registration .
