A is a manufacturing unit covering the large area. Half of his area is not in use. Can he give his half premises on Rent as a Warehouse to other ? Is there any permission is required to take from the concern AC / DC Central Excise?

You need to check as to what area (with boundary) has been shown as premises of manufacturing unit at the time of registration in Central Excise. If the area proposed for renting out is also included, you need to physically separate it by putting some fence or wall and you need to inform range and division about the same with a new sketch and boundary of manufacturing unit after putting the bi-furcation before entering into any rent agreement. Similar exercise will be required in other forums like VAT/CST etc. also.
