23 February 2017 hello.. I have recently applied for membership to the icai.. I have completed my mcom course external. During my articleship. . due to external course I didn't filed form 112. now icai demanding rs 1000 for condonation of delay. whether it is required for external courses? my one friend had got membership without such fee one year ago. She also done mcom external during her articleship. . pls help

24 February 2017 You need to take prior permission of ICAI for any course you engaged during articleship whether it is part time or external. While filing form for membership, if you mentioned M.Com as an additional degree, you need to pay 1000 bucks to ICAI for condonation along with form 112.
