Dear Sirs,


my colleuge ( married women) have remmitted a mediclaim insurance poliy for the amount of Rs. 15000/ (for financial year 2010-11) for her family. she may be claimed the above amount from income tax u/s 80d.

she wishes to pay more 15,000/ to mediclaim insurance premium for her parents who is depended with her. please clarrify these amount can be claimed or not
