09 June 2013 Can i file ITR 1 manually for the financial years 09-10,10-11,11-12 & 12-13..? If it is possible kindly tell what is the process..? I am from Chennai

09 June 2013 You can file the returns for the last two Financial Years i.e. FY 2011-12 and F Y 2012-13. You may obtain the coloured ITR 1 Forms from the Income-Tax Department.

However, it is far better to file the returns electronically.

09 June 2013 If you have refund in F.Y 2009-10 and 2010-11, you can file paper return with prior permission from commissioner of income tax for which you have to move a petition u/s 119 (2)(b) of the Income tax Act,1961.
