If the assessee is availing basic exemption limit,Is it mandatory to e-file ST-3 return from now onwards..???

My view,NIL return is not compulsory under service tax

mandatory electronic filing of Excise and Service Tax returns and payment of excise duty and service tax by all the assessees who have paid central excise duty or service tax of Rs. 10 Lakhs or more (including payment by utilisation of Cenvat credit) in the previous financial year.
