Good day.

What is the Buffer (Block) given for this financial year 2015-16 towards 'Leave Travel Allowance' and Can a Employee claim if he goes abroad probably for Personal purpose only + the Invoice is in Employee Name.

21 March 2016 Leave Travel Allowance : As the word indicates... there should be TRAVEL. The travel should be in LEAVE period. (Depending upon the employer, there could be certain other conditions to be followed...e.g. entitlement as per the rank etc.) Subject to that LTA can be claimed exempt as per sec 10
