let me know about my first attempt in FINAL COURSE

22 January 2008 RESPECTED SIR,

I have passed my PE-2 examination held in MAY,2007. I register myself in FINAL(old course) on 6th AUG.2007 and trnsfer in next week to FINAL(new course).

My articleship of three years has been started from 18th July,2007.

When will i be able to appear in final examination ?
(Nov,2009 or MAY,2010)

As per my communication vide telephone to institute last day, I was told the same will be held in May 2010.

The different reply caused me to get confused and I really dont know what exactly the way they adopt to determine the attempt date.
Kindly let me know and I shall be obliged to you for this kind support

27 January 2008 I will also check up once again. I have a student who got registered on the same date and has November 2009.

As I gathered information from my seniors, for sumbition of Examination Form of final year (first time),we have to complete 2 years and 6 months training before the 1st day of the month in which examination form is going to be submitted.

As in my case, it will complete off(two & half years) on 17th january,2010 and i'll be eligible for submition of examination form in FEB.2010

28 January 2008 icai.org website reads it as twenty four months i.e. two years. Please check. Good Luck.
