Morning!
I'd like to purchase an agricultural land from a gentleman who belongs to the SC tribe. He's willing to sell his land to me at the prevailing market rate.(I'm OBC).
The land record khatauni shows the catagory as 1-'kha'.
I've been told that such a land can be purchased without a problem by registering the land in metres and not bighas.
The land is situated in Uttar pradesh, and I'd like to know what shall be my course of actions to purchase such a plot.
