IS LATE FEE APLICABLE BEFORE VERIFICATION OF ITR? And is late fee aplicable after verification of ITR?

If return was filed before 31st July, no late fee will be levied, whether it was verified or not.
If the ITR not verified by 31.08.2022; it will be treated as null & void.... but no late fee applicable.
