I believe you should an article or a chartered accountant. Is this how you frame your queries??
With regards to what appears to be the issue here, your client needs to establish:
1. the said deposits have already been included in tax returns and tax has already paid on it, or
2. this amount relates a non-taxable credit such as gift from relatives.
