I have purchase a extension of warrenty of 20 computers for one year in the month of december. Please help me in passing the journal entry for the same.

10 February 2011 it can be debited to computer maintenance due to follwing reasons

1. Warrenty one year only, so this nature of revenue expenses

2.warrenty will give free service and replacement of parts with in the year and reduce your computer maintenance expenses
