One of my friend having income from computer servings can we file, ITr 2 for F. Y 2017-18, he is not able to fill the balance sheet

If,your friend"s income is less than Rs.2Cr.,he can file ITR-4,considering 8% of turnover/receipts as income.For which,he is not supposed to keep books of A/C for income-tax purpose.
