If 26as Shown Salary Amt Rs.608000 But Form 16 Shown Salary Amt Rs 528800 ( After Allowance Of HRA-Rs 60000 And Conveyance Allowance – Rs.19200) . In Such Case Which ITR Form Should Use And How To Reflect HRA And Conveyance Allowance In ITR Form . Can I Claim HRA Allowance On The Basis Of Form 16 Only. I Live In A Rented House And Rent Amount Is Rs 5000 Per Month But I Have No Rent Receipt. Can I Claim HRA Allowance (Which Is Shown In My Form 16) Without Rent Receipt.

You can file ITR 1.
From the past two years, the Tax Payers were using ITR 2 if the exempt income was more than Rs. 5000. This created a lot of debate and dilemma among Tax payers, whether to file ITR 2, even they receive exempt HRA allowance, which is normally more than Rs.5000.
This year, it brought a great sigh of relief. From now onwards, any Tax Payer enjoying any amount of exempt income such as PPF Interest , House Rent Allowance etc. can file ITR-1.
However, Payers who are enjoying the Agricultural income above Rs.5000 are still required to file ITR 2.

In ITR1 there is no place to show HRA/Conveyance allowance separately. Show it after deduction from Salary.
Yes you can claim HRA Allowance but do get the rent receipt. Rent receipt is not required at the time of filing of return but the same should be kept for record just in case file is selected for scrutiny.
