16 December 2014 sir i want to know whether a bank manager can view an individuals or a partnerships income tax return?

if they have access then why a manager asks his customer for 3 years of itr if that customer want a personal or some other loan

16 December 2014 Only the assessee or a person authorized by the assessee can view his returns. A bank manager CANNOT access the income tax returns of a person without his consent.

That is why the bank asks the person to submit a copy of their return.
