What are the consequences of belated filing of income tax return for a trust having registration u/s 12A and claiming exemption u/s 11 ?

As per the provisions of the Act, if the Trust fails to file it's Return of Income within the due date prescribed, the Trust loses its exemption status by operation of law u/s 11
