itr1 for assessment year 2013-14 has been uploaded on 30/07/2013 and received on 06/08/21013 . when status is checked it shows...23/05/2014- itr submitted is defective.Refer notice u/s 139(9) . re-submit itr after removing defects ...

Notice regarding defective return must have been received through e-mail. Go through that notice it contains the reasons for defective return which you have to rectify by re-submitting the ITR after removing defects. If no such mail is received you must contact CPC helpline,
