18 November 2012 Respected Sir's & Freinds,

I have filed my e-return on the 27.07.12. My refund is around Rs. 50,000/-, please let me know the time limit of getting refund if return is filed online, also while filing ITR 4 i had opted no accounts maintained option & had given very less details, will this create any problem in getting refund. Please let me know and clear my query.

18 November 2012 In case of an eligible business, you may show income @ 8% of your gross receipts or turnover. In such a case ITR 4S has been prescribed. If you file ITR 4S, you need not to bother for "opting" any case related with books of account.

However, you may check the status of your return by visiting the e-filing website. Unless you receive any notice from the department, you do not need to worry for the procedural delay.
