30 September 2012 Laundry service means what. Do you mean a dry cleaner or laundry engaged in washing of cloths and apparels or does it mean a Laundry engaged in providing washing service to manufacturers of Garment or other textile products. In first case the service is taxable and in second case not

30 September 2012 I mean to say that washing of cloths because my client is running the drycleaning and laundry business.

I think it is taxable but from which date it is applied.

30 September 2012 It was taxable even before 01/07/2012.

30 September 2012 before 01.07.2012 the service was defined under clause 37 of section 65 and service was a taxable service u/s. 65 (105)(zt). This was added by finance act 2003
