my query is "is it important to mention section in law for getting extra marks ?" or "is it voluntary act?"

Quoting relevant section and case laws will fetch you good marks but its not mandatory. Always try to remember important sections and case laws. Quote sections and case laws only if you remember correctly.

Bro quoting main section will do, not necessay to quote subsection and further.
very important in Law is the "LANGUAGE".
your ans must have ingredients of Legal Language ( using Appropriate Legal terms ) wherever its possible to use.
