25 July 2018 Hi,
Since 2 yrs I am an NRI. I have salary's income from Uk for 3 months(1.4.17 to 30.06.17) Hence I paid UK income Tax. In AY2018-19 I am an Indian resident have a income from salry for 9months (1.07.17 to 31.03.18).

should My resident consider me as split resident Hence my abroad salary income is non taxable in India as I have paid tax in Uk Country.

Please reply soon.

25 July 2018 Being resident of India your abroad salary income is taxable in India but relief can be claimed on the tax paid in UK.

26 July 2018 I am an NRI for past 2 yrs i.e I m resident of UK. Hence in the A.Y 18-19 salary's income from Uk for 3 months(1.4.17 to 30.06.17) is non Taxable in India as I am come in meaning of split resident as per above link .

26 July 2018 You are not tax resident of UK as you have not stayed in UK for more than 182 days hence split resident not applicable to you.
