21 September 2012 Hi Experts, I am a IPCC student and preparing for may 13 and also I am a B.com. Some of my friends have told me that this is a very difficult subject. But in B.com I have already prepared concept wise very well. I want to know Of what type questions are asked in the paper. Can this subject be prepared by self study if concepts for every head of income is clear. For Exam oriented questions what procedure should I follow.

21 September 2012 My dear friend, you already have an idea about the income tax subject because you read it in you B.Com. So my suggestion is follow the following path

www.icai.org - students - BOS Knowledge Portal - suggested Answers - IPCC and then download the tax papers related to previous attempts.

By showing last attempts papers gives more clarification and gives an idea to you than explaining by others. Then you can understand which type of questions is there and how the paper and how to prepare etc.....
One more thing who feels hard it always hard and difficult and who feels i can do, they always does don't think about difficult of the subject just enjoy the subject.

21 September 2012 Thanks Very very much. Only A further question is I have refered Girish Ahuja's Book and along with this book I am Solving the practice manuals also Chapter wise. Is it sufficient ?
