What are the pros and cons of giving both groups and a single group of ipcc at a time (may14 attempt)

1)you can get rank only if both groups attmepted,,
2)you can use more marks scored in one group for another group,,means it helps to pass in aggregate ..
3)you can get articleship in nice firm ..if you can pass both groups
