27 June 2016 I earned 15000 and my saving is 6000 I want to start investing in equity shares for better future and also escape from rat race.

27 June 2016 Dear Mr.Devesh, You can sell your share when ever needed. If your purpose of investment is wealth creation then you invest for little longer time. Any time you wish you can sell your stocks. If you want to get the benefit of tax exemption you must hold the stocks at least one year from the date of purchase.
