13 April 2018 I created my PPF account in 2011. But for last 1.5 year I have been outside India and have turned NRI.

Can I still invest in PPF while I am out?

If NO, I will be moving to India soon, can I invest in PPF then?

14 April 2018 one can not make (for any reason,whether he was in India / or out of it) PPF subscription-contribution , for the elapsed period, but can claim TAX FREE INTEREST earned by him , due to earlier subscription in his ITR

14 April 2018 @ss dahale I couldn't understand your answer. I am not asking can I earn interest on the elapsed time.

My question is: Can I still invest in my existing PPF account as I have turned NRI in the last year?

14 April 2018 NRIs can deposit in PPF account started while the depositor was resident in India till its maturity.
