how can i show investment in mutual fund sip in itr. this is necessary or not necessary. mf sip is equity only.

22 July 2017 IF you are only investing and not redeeming/selling your mutual fund investments, there is no need to report your SIP investments in your ITR.

Reporting of mutual fund transaction arises only when you earn profits from redemption of mutual fund investments
