06 February 2014 there is no concept called best investment. it would depend on which stage of life you are in and what risk appetite you have. for the least risk appetite, invest in PPF, Tax saver FDs and money market MF.

26 May 2014 you not metion your age , if your age is below 30 then you can invest in tax saving mutul fund and take LIC . due to at this age your premium is low, and you can take risk in market. after that you can invest in PPF, FDR more amount compare to above.
