Intimation under section 143(1) for ay 2012-13

20 March 2013 Dear Sir,

I received intimation to my email U/S 143(1) for demand of rs 120.

Rs 115 i had paid as self assessment tax on 29/06/2012 and filed my ITR on 13/07/2012.

In the intimation/order the same amount is not matching with CPC.

Where as the amount is reflecting in 26AS and NSDL OLTAS.

Plz guide me what should i do ?

In how many days i have to clear the demand ?

I can mail with attachments, if you want to have a check.

21 March 2013 File 154(1) rectification by indicating the details of self assesment tax paid by you and the same has not been considered by the CPC while its processing then CPC will re-process your return and removes your demand and re-send 143(1) rectification intimation.

Thanking you for your reply.

Sir, While filing rectification it is showing 3 options and sub options in Rectification request type. Which option i should select, please guide me.

Option1. tax payer is correcting data for tax credit mismatch only

Option2. tax payer is correcting the data in rectification

Option3. No further data correction required. Reprocess the case.

21 March 2013 Select the Option 3 because of at the side of assessee there is no mistake in filling and submission of ITR. And in the comments part write clearly what i said above.
