Hello experts..
I received intimation u/s 143(1) for F.Y. 2007-08 yesterday.. along with refund due.
Is the intimation valid? though dated 31.03.10 but has arrived so late?
Further the interest allowed on refund is only upto 31.03.10 & not the date of refund cheque which is 17.02.2011
if interest given is less, what is the procedure to claim the balance interest?

Apply for rectification u/s 154.

Interest for delayed cheque payment is not given. It is calculated only upto date of assessment.
