Intimation to roc about first appointment of auditor

06 September 2014 Dear All ,

As our company get incorporation on 17/05/2013 , at that time CA Act,1956 applicable. so,the question stand can the company intimate to roc if appointment is made by Board of Directors for the year 2013-14.

if yes , why ?

06 September 2014 Please pass resolution in the first BOD meeting to appoint statutory auditors to audit the accounts for the year ended on 31.3.2014. Pass on the copy of resolution and letter of appointment to the Auditors. They can now file e-form 23B under CLSS,2014 by which 75% of the additional filing fee will be waived for the belated filing of the said form.

06 September 2014 Agree with the opinion of expert.

Earlier form 23B was not available for filing. But now under CLSS 2014 scheme form 23B is available.

So it is advisable to file form 23B as early as possible as this form is available for limited time. Challan of form 23B would be required by you for annual filing for 2013-14.
