Sir,
I have received an intimation from the Assessing Officer for the FY 2009-10 for a claim of rupee 1. According to me no payment or no refund is to be made if the amount is less than Rs.100. Am I right?

Rs. 10/- and not Rs.100/- vide section 288B of the Income tax Act,1961. Thus Re.1/- demanded can be ignored.
