02 April 2012 As a novice I have filed income tax online for the Assessment Year 2009-2010 in January 2011. And as consequence I have done some serious mistake on income figures. Now on 29th Mar, 2012 I have received an intimation under section 143(1) demanding a huge tax to paid (Rs. 36450/-). Mentioning that, "Verification of records shows that the following Demand/s as raised in the demand notice mentioned above is/are still
outstanding and are payable by you.". I am at my wit's end, what to do at present situation.
Please help.

03 April 2012 File an online rectification application and correct the mistakes.

03 April 2012 But I have tried to file rectification several times, but failed with the Error Message: "Your input details are not matching. Please enter correct details as per the intimation order under Sec 143(1) or order under Sec154 passed by CPC."

03 April 2012 FILE THE APPEAL PETITION U/SEC 246 AND GET TECHNICAL MISTAKE , STATING CORRECT VERSION OF YOUR INCOME AND GET DIRECTION TO YOUR ASSESSING ITO TO ADOPT CORRECT INCOME, RECTIFICATION OVER INTERNENT FILING EILL BE REJECTED AND NO MEANING, EVEN TRY TO FILE RECTIFICATION PETITION TO CONCERNED ITO WHERE YOU ARE ASSESSED.

12 April 2012 File the rectification application.

You have to fill the details as per the intimation and not as per your computation.

Fill the tax payable and TDS as per the INTIMATION.
