A person gets HRA from his employer
He pays rent to the land lord
and claims HRA deduction from his salary income
Now he also owns a property in the same city.
He has acquired the property by taking loan from BAnks
Property is not let out
Can he claim both ?

He can claim both, but he can not show his own property as self occupied as the said property is in the same city.
