05 June 2014 Dear Experts,
Kindly brief, when I book Interest on Late payment of Service Tax if before 31st march I did not Deposit Service Tax, I depositing service tax on 05/06/2014,.

1)on 31St march or
2) when depositing Service Tax

05 June 2014 on date of deposited, since service tax deposited by u on 05-06-2014, interest on same also to be booked on same date.

07 June 2014 But I want book expenses of Previous year than, I Can book Interest upto 31st March 2014 on Last day of financial year.

Service Tax is Remaining for Dec, Jan, and Feb and Some amount of Service Tax of Ist Half also remaining.

10 June 2014 in that case you have to book expenses and interest payable to be kept.
